What is a Chemical Peel?

First, there are different levels of chemical peels. Some cause the skin to slough off aggressively on days 3-4 after application. Some peels don’t cause the skin to slough off but definitely exfoliate and clean pores.

We customize the use of Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids for client facials. We can adjust ingredients and strengths.

Everyone is not a candidate for the aggressive slough-off peel and we do a thorough consultation to ensure clients are on the right track.

Some common peels you may research include glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, trichloracetic acid, madealic acid, and pyruvic acid.
